Cyber Essentials is a UK government backed cyber security certification designed to help businesses protect themselves against 80% of the most common online threats.

The scheme is a self assessment questionnaire to ensure essential security controls are in place. It has also started to become a mandatory certification for many government and council contracts making it an essential benchmark for demonstrating strong cyber hygiene and organisational security.
